For bones to increase and maintain their density, they require the application of weight-bearing force. The best exercises are not only weight-bearing but also exercises that have impact. This Specialty Program will use a combination of your own body weight, dumbbells and resistance band exercises for the entire body specifically to help maintain bone density.

The benefits of Tai Chi are best shown through regular practice. Participants will learn to use awareness of breath, posture and weight transference working on the basic Yang style Tai Chi movements in easy to follow short forms. Both beginners and repeat participants welcome.

TBM is a “Unique methodology of injury prevention, rehabilitation, conditioning & peak performance training based on balanced water and land exercises.” This method is based upon the 6 Essential qualities of life and sport creating the foundation of The Burdenko Method– Balance, Coordination, Flexibility, Endurance, Speed and Strength. For the next month we will focus on the aquatic portion of the program challenging it’s participants in a pain free environment thus improving one’s quality of living.

The BoxFit Program is a total body non-contact circuit training program that utilizes the skills and techniques of boxing.  Participants will be exposed to a variety of boxing style training that will challenge the six essential qualities of sport: balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, speed and strength.  Learn how to properly hit the heavy bag, throw punch combinations, defensive techniques and more!
Wraps and gloves are required.
